Mecca Makkah Al Mukarramah is the holiest city in islam and the capital of Mecca province in the Hejaz region of western Saudi Arabia. Every Muslim who makes the pilgrimage is required to walk around the kaaba seven times, during which he or she kisses and touches the black stone.
